Liam Howlett released the dirt chamber volume one in 1999 it was his first solo production
the importance and emphasis on this being his first ever solo album is dotted all over the digipack
On the cover the number 1 is circled in a chaotic manner representing the artists caotic music and his chaotic personality the number one also emphasizes the beginning of his solo carrera. and the beging of an adveture the listiener will part take in when listiening to this album.
the circle also repersents that he has thought long and hard over this album and its been selected and debated, reciving a halo like white circle. almost making it seem holy and special but of course this album is very special to him being his first

Liam also uses a font which seems like its scratched and engraved on the album almost like the scratching you would see in a prison cell, this couldrepresent the frustration he had whilst he worked hard on this album and it could also represent the time he spent on the album.
The 1 might also represent his early music tastes liam has which is shown in his choice of songs in the remixes featured in his album
Ants are known for there hardworking and there ambition, liam has used an ant stencil to represent the amount of hard work he has put into this album. but also the ambition he has for the album but it is also a useful marketing tool as the stencil is also used by his more famous band the prodigy by using the logo he is automatically creating a link with the prodigy so that exsisting fans would become interested in tha album
The overall picture on this digipack is a lock this makes it seem like the album was protected or that whilst liam howlett made this album he unlocked himself or that he is allowing you into his life and his musical world. but this lock is also broken so he has seen some struggels whilst making this albumbut it also
on the back the lock theme is still carried on but theres also images of records music equipment and graffitti style writing this all helps to build an image of liams personality.
the messy studio relays the image of a messy work and a artist who works caotically but also
The grafitti helps to keep him seem street and edgey
Overall this digpack contains many differnt themes and holds no sterotypes but also breaks the concventions of dance music so i would evaulate this product as a sucess
