This digi pack has a continous theme from the orginal song, the video and potential promotional poster.
this theme is Journey's, the advert which was orginally used elena kat's eliza's aria was called the journey continues we have repeated this theme in the music video with alot of walking scenes and drving scenes we have made sure that the viewer knows that the caracters in the video are on a journey but the viewer doesnt know why they are on this journey or were they are going on this journey.
To make this theme constant on the digipack i have used props, settings and costumes which have a strong connection with journeys and travling.
On the front cover of the digipack i want the same mysterious caracter who featured on the promotional poster, which had the same theme of journeys. this will make it easy for a consumer who wants to buy the product easierly identify the digipack as the one referd to in the poster as they will see the connection between both poster and digipack this continuity is seen throught out all media products which have such a strong relationship.
i want the character to seem to be deep in thought in the middle of a busy city, this contrast can reflect the contrast between the slow classical eliza's aria sample and the busy caotic dubstep beats.
with lighting i want the lighting to be bright like on the poster to again stand out from other products on the shelf but also reflect the musics bright future and bright strong beats the classical sampling also very light and uplifting.
On the back on the cover i want to have a image of the caracters back he is wearing a black eastpak backpack althogough the eastpak logo is replace by a metaphi logo which very similar to the eastpak logo this is so people know that the bag is eastpak but it also publises metaphi at the same time. Eastpak is a famous brand and is once again a product which has strong connections with urban clothing, shops across the world stock eastpak including stores such as urban outfitters, route one and size?. this will mean consumers will recognize the back pack and relate to it as chances are they have owned one in the past.
