Final Digi-Pack design

After an editing process using the design software photoshop by adobe i have sucessfully created a digipack design which is humble just like metaphi but also artistic with strong connections to the music video and the promotional poster

The Front Cover of the digipack

This is the design for the front cover i have used the same grafitti like font as i did on my promotional poster in the same electronic green colour this creates a strong link between both product even though the promotional poster is in a differnt location

"i like the distortian in the face and hands it makes it seem erie and differnt although i dilike the color of the writing and the i find it a little to bright" sandy hagenbach
To make sure i had enough lioght from the street lighting i made sure the aperiture was high to allow more light into the camera i also used the same green from my poster to keep strong connections between the two products green has alot of meanings but it also the color for llyods tsb so i have that connection on the album as a slight reminder of were the orginal music is from.

"I like the blureness of the characters head, and the urban retro feel created by the font, i also like the bright lighting its attention grabbing although the colouring is all fairly similar i would like to see some differentiation" hayden
To achive the slight blur i also increased the exposure time this allowed for more light into the camera and also around me to play with my hands a little to give the blurry effect.
I can also see how the colors are fairly similar although i didnt want to create confusion with to many details in the background maybe i could of set it somewere not so bright but were you could see were the light was coming from to add a change in the lighting.
"I like the lighting and i like how bright and bold the writing is as it is attention grabbing i also like the use of the rule of thirds and the composition" kelsey heaton
I used the same font as on my poster this font is obviously succesful as the wider market likes it but its also enjoyed by the more specefic target market

This time to capture my image i put the camera on a self timer for ten seconds to make sure i had enough time to get into postion i also used the bench as a tripod instead of the actual tripod because it allowed me to get the angle i wanted to i also kept to the rule of thirds
This is the inside of the front cover.
I tried to include the car scenes which featured in the music video into the digipack as it was such a large part of the video

"I like the relivance to the video with cars and the lights i once again dont like the font as it makes it hard to read the important information"
Trying to keep the constant themes throught out my 3 products has been a challange as it has restrained some vreativity although i do blive it has created a strong branding and people fully understand the auidence i was aiming for and how i achived to interest them.

"i like the minmalistic style because its easy to find out the needed infomation" hayden crocker

"I like the differnece in lighting between the red and white i also like the high angle of the shot." kelsey heaton

Once again to make this image i used a tripod and a long exposure by adjusting the shutter speed to 30 seconds i took a few images and few didn't work either because of not enough light or because the shutter speed was to short but after 5 or 6 atempts i finished off with this wonderful image which is simple but also interesting.

This is the back of the digipack

I wanted a simple design for the back of the digipack and i didnt find it necssary to try to hard to find a picture to suit that back as i think for the back of a digipack all you really need is the in formation

"I like the contrast between the green and the black i also like how unique the barcode is" sandy hagenbach
Keeping the colors constant i tried with either a green background with black font or the other way round i relised this was the better version as it wasnt to bright and in your face but still eye catching.
"I like how the barcode is in differnt colour to your standard barcode style but the font makes it hard to read the website" haydon crocker
Alot of dubstep is about taking somthing and making it your own and i belive i have reflected this with my barcode i found the font on dafont.com and wrote dubstep love inthe font so that it had a connection with the prodcut and not only served a purpose its also a way to make sure people know this is a dubstep digipack so they know what they are getting

"I love the detail underneath the barcode saying "Dubstep Love" i think thats a raelly touching thing for his fans i also like the simplicity" Kelsey Heaton
Overall i like my final product, although the changes in themes from my front cover and my inside front may be a bit to differnt i hope that once the person has watched the music video they would further understand the themes and this would make it clearer the font may make it hard to read the detail but i needed to stay constant with my print products and i think it works in many areas to justify it use.
